Professional musician Dan Forshaw has recently moved to Northern Ireland having spent the previous three years in London and New York.  Having studied with the best in the business Dan is keen to pass on his skills to students of what ever age or ability.  Dan’s playing has been called ‘cool, clever and creative’ , ‘virtuosic’ and ‘a real breath of fresh air’ by the critics and he is set become one of the leading lights in British jazz.

Dan is a former Director of Jazz studies and Music Technology at the Sir Thomas Beecham Music School in Rossall, Fleetwood, Lancashire.  He has over nine years of teaching experience, ranging from individual lessons to full lecture halls!  He has a 100% pass rate for ABRSM exams and has received commendations from the board for the excellent results his students have achieved.

A passionate performer, Dan seeks above all to inspire his students to reach the pinnacle of their own ability and develop a real love for music!
